Sunday, September 17, 2017
8:30am, 68°F, Rocky River High School

This was our second year running this race. It’s a nice change from the usual 5K — you don’t often see 4 mile races and the start is on a high school track. Not to mention, the cause is a great one and the energy is always very positive. Continue reading 5th Annual Labor of Love Run 4 Our Lady of The Wayside

Working For It

I was recently talking to a friend about how one of her friends runs long distances even when he’s not in training and runs marathons on whims. I immediately blurted out “I wish I could do that, but I’m one of those runners that has to work to be a runner.” At first, this made me feel a little uncomfortable, but the more I think about it, the more it’s helped me to understand how and why I run. 27th Annual A Most Excellent Race

Sunday, June 25, 2017
~68°F, 9am, Beaumont School

Saturday, March 25, 2017
~50°F, 10am, West Park Station

This year’s Lakewood Jig and Jog 5K started a lot like other races we’ve run. R didn’t pre-register. When K texted him late Friday night about the race, he wasn’t even prepared to run it! Continue reading 6th Annual Irish Jig & Jog 5K
