Last week, R wrote about our running streak that we’re doing through the remainder of 2016.
Well, this week I’m going to complain about it.
While it was my idea, I’ve been struggling to get at least 1 mile in on some days. I’ve given myself two days a week that I can use for a quick 1 mile (the rest are already booked with my training plan anyways) and, surprisingly, those 1 milers are putting me in bad moods! Somehow my brain is having trouble settling on the idea that even if it’s just 1 mile, I’m better off doing it than sitting on the couch.
BUT I DON’T WANNA.
Getting dressed for a run sometimes takes longer than that 1 mile!
But this is why we’re streaking: to create good habits and challenge ourselves.
And on that note, I’ll be logging 1 grumpy mile tonight after work and I probably won’t be happy about it until it’s over with and I’m sitting cozy on the couch and watching Haters Back Off.
