Munday Runday: Morning vs. Evening

I’m a self-proclaimed morning person. I love getting up before everyone else (especially on weekends) and getting my house cleaning done, hitting the pavement (or treadmill), and finding time to just start my day before anyone else does. I often struggle because stores don’t open early enough for me!

Lately, this has not been the case. I’ve been blaming the weather and staying up late binging on Harry Potter books and The Walking Dead, but what it comes down to is a small bout of morning laziness. GASP! I’ve been running in the evenings! Sometimes it makes sense to wait because this time of year brings higher temps in the evenings after the sun has done its job. But, as we all know, April has been a little cruel, so I’ve been on the treadmill a lot. In the evening. Ugh. It’s ridiculous. I miss running before or during the sunrise! That’s the best time of day!

Running in the evening is definitely not my preference, but I’ve figured out the broadcast schedule for “Fixer Upper” and “Flip or Flop” so I guess it works out?

What do you prefer? Morning or evening workouts?
