City Sights: February

Cleveland Heights Blooms

It was a weird February, I think we can all agree. Just like the past few months of winter, we didn’t really have the weather typical for this time of year. Global warming is real, folks (shout out to Leo ::heart eyes::).

On a recent weekend jaunt, I came across something totally unexpected for a February run (in Cleveland, at least): FLOWERS.

Someone’s yard was being taken over by these tiny little purple flowers and they were creeping into the next yard. These seem like the kind of flower that could be a nuisance to some, but they were just so…shocking that I couldn’t help but find them beautiful.

I tried, but photos couldn’t do them justice. The purple was vibrant, despite the overwhelming amount of dormant plants surrounding the flowers, and there were TONS of them.
