5 Winter Races to Keep You Running!

It’s hard to keep running through the winter, especially when it’s difficult to find motivation. We’ve found that our best motivators are races (and food and booze), so we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite winter races (and an interesting challenge). You’ll definitely see us at 4 of these events, so join the fun and keep running!

Now is the time to even consider making a 2016 resolution to run a race a month — that’s how we got sucked into this. 😉

A Cleveland staple! Casual, small, and a fun collection of shirts that let you look back at the year’s race history!

Tackle the Tower February 6, 2016

While we haven’t run this one personally, we couldn’t leave it off the list! What a wonky challenge and great way to keep moving in the winter.

Chili Bowl 5K February 27, 2016

Could this be…our favorite race of the year?? It’s definitely up there – how can you beat a cold winter’s run followed by steaming hot chili and spicy bloody mary’s to melt the icicles off your eyebrows!

Jig and Jog March 19, 2016

We’ve run this race twice now and we look forward to it every year. The weather is always mostly horrible and we always question why we’re here so early and so cold, but it ends up being a rewarding and fun day!

Keep Running 5K January 17, 2016

We may be biased, but we love the KR5K! The second annual Keep Running 5K brings together our loyal Keep Running friends and fans for a super laid back Edgewater fun run, complete with post-race milk and prizes. 🙂
