Does your daily run ever turn into a nightly run?
As much as I try to keep a regular schedule to my runs, things happen sometimes. I love running in the mornings, especially in the winter, but sometimes there isn’t enough time before work for everything that needs done.
I’ve recently had to sneak a couple of runs in just before going to sleep. While it’s actually kind of nice to run at night, when you’re done with everything else in the day, it can definitely make it harder to fall asleep if it’s too close to your bedtime.
It seems like a pretty common question that gets asked: is it “better” in some way to run in the mornings as opposed to night or midday? The answer always seems to be, no. It’s a matter of personal preference, and figuring out what works for your schedule. At the end of the day (pun intended), getting your run in late is better than missing it altogether.
